About Gianna Vias Restaurant & Bar

Located at 5301 Grove Rd #639, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, Gianna Vias Restaurant & Bar operates as a pizza restaurant serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under banquet hall, bar, breakfast restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 882-6500. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, giannavia.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 1,132 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Pittsburgh and suggests consistent service.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Enjoyed a family reunion meal there. I wish the tables could have been set up differently. I saw peopl at the end that I didn't even know were there. But, the salad I had was delectable(Harvest Salad) and the server we had was great and very personable.

I am a huge liver and onions fan and the Saturday afternoon special is amazing. I have had it here three times now and this was absolutely the best I have had in a long time, thanks Nick! The entrees are priced right and Jackie was a perfect server. We look forward to returning again soon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came here with my family and had an amazing experience. We had a group of 6, and the restaurant had plenty of seating for all group sizes throughout the place. There’s also outdoor seating (too cold for it right now, but definitely a plus), and a bar area that looked great. The whole facility was clean and well kept, and the staff was super nice. Our waiter Jackie was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel very welcome. Now the food… πŸ”₯ We all ordered different things and not a single miss: * I got the salmon and it was a 10/10 β€” crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and paired with an **amazing house-special appetizer. * My brother ordered the chicken alfredo and literally licked the bowl clean. * My cousin got a pasta dish and finished every bite. * My dad ordered a sausage sandwich… and let’s just say the sandwich didn’t survive. * My sister loved her buffalo chicken wrap. * My uncle got the same sandwich he always gets here, which says a lot on its own. For 6 people, the bill was around $130 which is a great value for the quality and portions. Overall, great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to

Atmosphere- 4 stars- located in the Shoppes at Caste Village this Italian/Pizza restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Modern/ contemporary style restaurant with plenty of tables, a full bar and a private room for parties. Pretty clean overall but bathrooms needed some tidying up. Some of the tables are a-little too close to each other. They also have outside covered seating. Service- 4 stars- our server was Margie. She was friendly and attentive. Food- 4 stars- really enjoyed the food that we ordered. Our first time here so we weren’t sure what was the popular item so we played it safe and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, wedding soup and cheese sticks (triangles). Everything was very good- my favorite was the cheese sticks and a very nice amount for an appetizer (six total). Very cheesy and a nice pull. Loved the breading and marinara dipping. Wedding soup was good as well. The pizza was very tasty- not the best pizza I have ever had but a solid pizza not the less. Loved the pepperoni that they use here. Would definitely come back and try some other offerings in the future. Highly recommend!!

I came here on a Saturday night, it was pretty busy but our server made us feel like the only people there. The food was amazing. We had the spinach artichoke dip, the chicken marsala, and a Harry's Pizza. It was delicious, the pizza was astounding, along with the spinach artichoke dip. The chicken Marsala was also very good, but I almost felt like based on texture it's either the most perfect gravy ever, or a packet was invloved, but it was delicious either way. πŸ˜‹ Thank you for a wonderful time, we will definitely be returning.
